Wow! It's crazy how everything can change so quickly!

I recently attended my first B.S.U. Bronco's game!
It was when they played Hawaii.
We had so much fun hanging out with our "so grown up already" son Logan, and all the other die hard B.S.U. fans. There really isn't anything like hanging out with perfect strangers who are all dressed the same, and all think that they like/know the team better than you!

Then we got to go out of town on a little trip just the two of us to Vegas for Tom's work, and while Tom was in a meeting he got some amazing news.
He landed two different job interviews in the same city!

So we weighed the pros and cons (for what seemed like forever, but was actually quite a short amount of time when you consider the enormity of what it could mean for our family), and booked him a ticket!

The rest of the trip we went on several "future trips" as my friend likes to call them, and could hardly focus on anything else.

I mean look at all these cool pics, and all I could do was think
"Really? Am I really going to go through with this if he gets one of these jobs?"

Side note- Jack this is the T.P. Feather dress, and the statue actors!

O.K. O.K. I'll tell ya the big news in picture form...

WAIT

FOR

IT

ALMOST

THERE

We are so excited, but along with that comes a lot of tears. We have been blessed to know and have some of the best people in the world as friends, and will be moving away from almost all of our family. We will miss them so much, but truly know that this is what we are supposed to do, and where we are supposed to be.

P.S. So my first B.S.U. game was probably my last, but Tom has already figured out when the Boston Celtics are playing in Washington, so I guess it's a little give and take in the sporting department.

Even though life is constantly changing...jobs, moving, kids, ALL of it...I'm SO grateful that our lives have crossed paths. No matter WHERE we are now, we'll always...ALWAYS be the best of friends. Friendship knows NO distance! We're SO excited, nervous, anxious and happy for the Perry family. We love you! And we can't wait to see you tonight! ☺

  10. What?!?!? This is fantastic news for you guys!! I grew up in the suburbs of DC and loved it. So many things to do and it's great to be in the middle of it all. The Nations Capital! Awesome.

What's even better is that since my family is still in the area we can come visit you guys too! So when's the big move, where are you going? More details please.

We understand the feelings that come with a big move like this. It's not always an easy decision but you will be blessed for following the Lords plan for your family. Love you guys!

I am so sad you will be leaving, you have been a great friend and preschool teacher :) But having spent a lot of time in DC, you will have the most wonderful opportunity to see and do things that will change your life. I wish my mom was still there so we could see you when we visit. Wishing you the best of luck there.
